About this Event

The Big Malarkey Festival 2025, Hull’s children’s literature festival, will take place at East Park, Hull, from June 23 to June 29.

Organized by Hull Libraries and funded by the James Reckitt Library Trust and Arts Council England, it targets children aged 0–16, offering a celebration of books and storytelling.

The festival includes four days of school activities (June 23–26) and a family-friendly weekend (June 28–29) at Malarkey Park, featuring authors, illustrators, poets, performers, and interactive workshops like puppet-making, storytelling, and music.
