Avenues Open Gardens 2025

Avenues Open Gardens 2025 in Hull takes place on Sunday, June 29, and Sunday, July 6, from 1pm to 5pm each day. This urban open gardens event takes place in the HU5 area, showcasing around 37-70 private gardens and allotments in the Avenues (Victoria, Park, Westbourne, and Marlborough). Known as the UK’s largest inner-city open garden event since 1976, it features diverse gardening styles, unique Victorian architecture, and original features like stable blocks.

Programmes cost £5 per adult (children free with an adult), granting access to all gardens on both days. They’re available at open gardens or in advance from locations like Cups and Scoops, Chants DIY, and Dove House Shops on Chanterlands and Newland Avenues.

Proceeds support charities, including Dove House Hospice and Rooted in Hull and Pearson Park Community Garden.
