About this Event

Join one of our knowledgeable guides who will bring the Streetlife Museum of Transport to life with a relaxed, hour-long tour that takes you through more than 200 years of transport history.

You’ll see the journey from graceful horse-drawn carriages and early bicycles to trams, vintage motor cars, and the engines that shaped modern travel, all set within evocative recreated streets and displays.

Along the way, you’ll hear the story of Thomas Sheppard, the dedicated curator whose vision and tireless work helped create this museum and many of Hull’s other cherished collections.

A gentle, informative way to explore the past - perfect for anyone curious about how we got around and the man who preserved so much of that history.
